Accommodations: We will be staying at Camp Barney Medintz, in Cleveland, Georgia, in the North Georgia Mountains. Bring your own toiletries, towel, pillow case, sheet & blanket or sleeping bag. Pillows will be provided. If you want to share a room with just one other person, there are a limited number of double occupancy rooms available at an additional cost of $40 per person. Some pictures of the camp can be found on Houson's webpage at: http://www.mosaics.org/Houston/Frame16.html.
Meals: Meals are kosher, and are served family style. All meals, from dinner on Wednesday through lunch on Sunday, are included. Vegetarian selections will be offered at every meal.
Transportation from the Airport to the Camp and back: We encourage you to rent a car if you have two or three friends with whom to share the expense. Alternatively, we will arrange to get you from the airport to the camp, and back, for an additional fee of $30. Try to arrive as early as possible on Wednesday, since it will take a couple of hours to get to the camp, and there will be activities planned beginning Wednesday afternoon. Try to leave late afternoon or early evening on Sunday, so you will be able to enjoy the morning at the camp, and leave after lunch. We guarantee transfers only if you will arrive prior to 6:00 pm Thursday, and return after 11:00 am Sunday. Otherwise, we will attempt to get you a ride, or assist you in finding a carpool.
Airlines: Atlanta is the hub of both Delta and AirTran. Be sure to check with both for non-stop flights from your area.
